I am writing to request records from January 1, 2010 through October 31, 2014 for any bids, request for proposal responses, or request for qualification, lists of bidders, and list of parties seeking prequalification submitted by, pertaining to, or including the name of the following companies:
- Basic Resources, Inc.
- Black Diamond Aggregates, inc.
- Valley Slurry and Seal Co.
- 711 Materials, Inc. (Sometimes stylized as 7/11 Materials, Inc.)
- George Reed, Inc.
This request includes any applications for any kind of public contracts and all supporting or related documents. I am requesting all available records except blueprints or engineering calculations that are attachments to the applications.
Please consider this request as having been made pursuant to all California and Federal laws providing for citizens to obtain such information including California Government Code §6250 et seq, commonly referred to as the California Public Records Act, as wells as 5 USC §552 et seq, better known as the Federal Freedom of Information Act.
If I can provide any clarification in order to expedite this request, please do not hesitate to reach out. Suffice it to say, however, that I would like for the language of this request to be construed as broadly as possible and to include as many responsive as documents for which relevant laws permit disclosure.
