Pursuant to my rights under the California Public Records Act, I request access to and copies of any and all of the following information held by your agency.
- Reports (such as incident reports) from 2010 to the present containing the word “drone,” “drones,” “unmanned aerial vehicle,” “unmanned aerial vehicles,” “UAV,” and “UAVs”
- Emails to and from airport employees from 2010 to the present containing the word “drone,” “drones,” “unmanned aerial vehicle,” “unmanned aerial vehicles,” “UAV,” and “UAVs”
- Copies of any policies or training materials related to drones or unmanned aerial vehicles
I ask that the responsive materials should be made available in electronic format where possible, such as a PDF file, and that materials be made available on a flow basis as completed.
If my request is denied in whole or part, I ask that you justify all deletions by reference to specific exemptions of the California Public Records Act. I will also expect you to release all segregable portions of otherwise exempt material.
I am a working journalist and this information is being sought for dissemination to the general public. As such, I am requesting the waiver of fees because the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest.
