County policy, forms and writings relative to the implementation of ACL 14-101, 14-101E and CF 37

Dear County Welfare Director:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, California Government Code § 6250 et seq., on behalf of our public assistance clients, CCWRO asks to review and then receive copies of the documents as described below. The copies of the documents may be produced either by electronic (e-mail) mail in PDF or Microsoft Word for copies of the following documents.
- Copies of any and all county policy issuances relative to the implementation of ACL 14-101 and 14-101E and CF 37;
- Copies of all county forms, in addition to CF 37, relative to the implementation of ACL 14-101 and 14-101E and CF 37;
- Copies of any and all writings as defined in Gov. Code §6252(g) to or from the State Department of Social Services commencing with August 1, 2014 through December 31, 2014.
We ask your county make a determination on this request within ten days of receipt as mandated by Government Code §6253(c). If CDSS determines that any or all of the information requested above qualifies for an exemption from disclosure, CCWRO asks you to note whether the exception is discretionary and, if so, whether it is necessary to exercise your discretion to withhold that information.
If your county determines that some but not all of the information is exempt from disclosure and that the agency intends to withhold it, we ask that you redact it for the time being and make the rest available as requested.

6252(g)“Writing” means any handwriting, typewriting, printing, photostating, photographing, photocopying, transmitting by electronic mail or facsimile, and every other means of recording upon any tangible thing any form of communication or representation, including letters, words, pictures, sounds, or symbols, or combinations thereof, and any record there by created, regardless of the manner in which the record has been stored.
6253.9. (a) Unless otherwise prohibited by law, any agency that has information that constitutes an identifiable public record not exempt from disclosure pursuant to this chapter that is in an electronic format shall make that information available in an electronic format when requested by any person and, when applicable, shall comply with the following:
